The Diamond Circle offers two excellent courts, only few degrees South of the Arctic Circle.
Húsavík Golf Course - a 9-hole course, one of the finest in the country, in a remote corner of the town, with great views of Húsavíkurfjall and Skjálfandi Bay. It is run by the Húsavík Golf Club, founded in 1967.
Mývatnssveit Golf Course – a 9-hole course, located in Reykjahlíð and run by the Mývatnssveir Golf Club, founded in 1989.
The Húsavík Whale Museum Putting Course – during the calm winter months, from October to April, the museum, in cooperation with the Húsavík Golf Club, operates a 18-holes putting course, the northernmost in the world.
